OK so it’s not ours, but there is a brilliant playground in the park opposite Wolngarin. This was recently upgraded by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council and we now have a swingset, slide, small climbing wall, monkey bars and flying fox, as well as some free standing spinners/rockers. They also added chip/bark style flooring to soften any falls for the kids. The council also replaced the picnic table adjacent to the playground and have upgraded and painted the surface of the half basketball court. The park has plenty of space to run around and kick a ball or throw a frisbee, and if it tickles your fancy; kite flying is possible. **UPDATE** Council has built a shade cloth over the playground. This is fab news for holidays with kids as it will mean more protection from the Queensland sun! Well done Tracy; all those nagging phonecalls to council have finally paid off!
