Visit the lakeside Kinaba Information Centre and follow the mangrove boardwalks. Hop back on board to enter the Everglades. This unspoilt wetlands environment offers the opportunity to view an abundance of wildlife and the famous mirrored waterways of the Everglades. Stopping at Harrys Hut for either lunch or afternoon tea before a relaxing cruise back to Noosa
Fraser Island
Visit Fraser Island, the worlds largest Sand Island. This World Heritage Listed area is a short drive from Noosa. Your guide will pick you up from Wolngarin and drop you back at the end of the day. Travel along the Noosa North Shore and 40 Mile Beach. Walk the rainforest at Central Station, see the crystal clear blue fresh water lakes and creeks, and the famous coloured sands. Offshore Fishing
Head offshore in a purpose built charter boat. ½ or full day trips are available. Well equipped vessels with helpful crew to ensure you go home with more than a “one that got away” story. Visiting local Sunshine and North Reefs catching warm water species not found in the cooler southern waters. The Sunshine Coast has some spectacular diving locatons. Whether the excellent reefs off Noosa, or the purpose designed dive wreck the Ex-HMAS Brisbane warship which lies perfectly upright at only 27 meters, and only a 10 minute boat ride off the coast. The average water temp of 22 degrees is another reason to explore the warm sub tropical waters where you are likely to see schools of fish, large rays, wobbegong and reef sharks, turtles and octpus. Catcha courtesy bus form Wolngarin to either Hervey Bay or Mooloolaba where you will board a boat to take you out to see the humpback whales as they migrate north. Get up close and personal and witness these magnificent creatures.
